With its theatres as well as the production and presentation of shows, musicals and concerts, the Mehr-BB Entertainment Group, based in Duesseldorf and headed by producer and CEO Maik Klokow, is one of the largest hosts of live entertainment in the German-speaking countries.
As of 2018, Mehr-BB Entertainment is a member of the world’s number one live theatre company, the Ambassador Theatre Group Ltd. (ATG). Both companies share their expertise in venue operation, production and programming as well as ticketing. ATG becoming the owner of Mehr-BB Entertainment means that both companies will expand their international network of theatres und sharpen their focus on working with the world’s leading producers, creatives and entertainment companies to present high-class shows.
The Mehr-BB Entertainment Group is currently operating the Mehr! Theater am Grossmarkt Hamburg, the Starlight Express Theater Bochum, the Admiralspalast Berlin, the Capitol Theater Duesseldorf and the Musical Dome Cologne. With these five theatres, Mehr-BB Entertainment has established itself as Germany’s largest theatre group whose venues are also available for rent to outside produced shows, musicals, concerts, events, and corporate events.
Furthermore, the company‘s portfolio includes the organization and realisation of high-quality events as well as the development of new shows and innovative entertainment concepts. This also includes the production of internationally acclaimed musicals and the realisation of major tours and their marketing, such as the world premiere of Hape Kerkeling’s KEIN PARDON – DAS MUSICAL, the CATS Theater Tent Tour, DIRTY DANCING – DAS ORIGINAL LIVE ON TOUR and the German premiere of SHREK – DAS MUSICAL.
Through its subsidiary, a.s.s. concerts & promotion GmbH, Mehr-BB Entertainment organizes up to 1,200 concerts a year featuring national and international acts like Christina Stuermer, Bob Geldof and Alphaville. Alongside its core business in the field of rock and pop music, the Hamburg-based concert organizer also has an indie music division - Selective Artists, a heavy metal division - Dragon Productions, as well as a gala and event division - K-Musix.
The ticketing service provider Deutsche Eintrittskarten TKS GmbH is also part of the corporate group.
All over Germany, 460 employees are working under the management of Maik Klokow and Prof. Guenter Irmler for Mehr-BB Entertainment.
